Africa-Press – Kenya. The highly anticipated TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 campaign has been formally started by the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF), which has unveiled the tournament’s official poster and theme under the “PAMOJA” banner.
Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania will co-host the 2024 edition of TotalEnergies CAF CHAN from August 02–30, 2025, marking the first time the three East African countries have worked together to organise a major continental football tournament.
The phrase PAMOJA, which means “unity” in Swahili, is central to the campaign.
PAMOJA is more than simply a catchphrase; it is a symbol of unity, harmony, and common goal.
It symbolises the unity of African communities and the principles of cooperation, camaraderie, and teamwork that football embodies.
The official poster, which was unveiled today on CAF’s digital channels and broadcast partners, captures the spirit of African football and the distinctive cultural legacy of the host countries.
The poster, which features East African monuments and symbolic components that align with PAMOJA’s principles, is designed with strong, vibrant designs.
Players who compete in their home leagues are the only ones eligible to play in the TotalEnergies CAF CHAN.
It is an exhibition of the richness and diversity of African football as well as a celebration of indigenous talent.
The PAMOJA campaign, which will be implemented across various media channels as anticipation for CHAN 2024 grows, will include grassroots football projects, digital storytelling, and fan interaction activities with the goal of fortifying the tournament’s ties to African communities.
