Africa-Press – Kenya. Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has been summoned by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations over vote-rigging allegations.
The MP on Monday claimed in a series of Facebook posts and videos that the State was planning to manipulate Tuesday’s elections.
DCI has noted that they noted with concern his allegation and would want him to service them with information regarding the matter.
“The attention of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations has been drawn to a sensational social media post attributed to Gatundu South M.P Hon. Moses Kuria, insinuating very serious allegations in respect to election offences,” DCI said.
“The Directorate is urging the legislator to urgently report to any police station or DCI office close to him, to help with investigations for appropriate and immediate action.”
