Africa-Press – Kenya. Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Saturday evening held a meeting with leaders from the larger Rift Valley region, in Nandi county.
The meeting was hosted by Nandi Governor Stephen Sang.
According to Gachagua, the consultative meeting will helP in the formulation of solid actions to implement the Kenya Kwanza agenda.
He said they also discussed the unity of purpose, among others key issues.
“Constant consultations create synergy in refining ideas into solid actions for implementation. The Nandi Governor Stephen Sang hosted me alongside other leaders from the Rift Valley and other parts of the country.
“Besides discussing unity of purpose, the meeting was an opportunity to also strengthen our resolve of delivering on our respective mandates on development,” Gachagua said.
The DP on Saturday held a series of engagements in Nandi, including flagging off subsidized fertilizers at Kobujoi National Cereals and Produce Board Depot in Aldai.
Gachagua assured farmers of better prices from their expected harvest.
