Africa-Press – Kenya. The youth in Kenya Kwanza have reached out to their counterparts in Azimio and asked them to support President William Ruto’s administration.
National youth leader Kariuki Ngunjiri said all Kenyan youth should now support government programmes that seek to empower them economically and socially.
“With elections now behind us, we should now move the country forward. The President requires the support of all and sundry as he makes decisions geared at steering the country to greater heights of prosperity,” he stated.
Ngunjiri further urged the youth in Azimio to join Opposition leaders in providing oversight to the new administration.
“I request the people of Kenya, especially the youth who I worked closely with to be patient and supportive to the President as he steers the country forward. In the days to come, his fantastic policy on economy will be felt,” he said.
In a statement, Ngunjiri said the President has the interests of Kenyans youth at heart and is committed to addressing their challenges.
“Throughout we sold an economic reform agenda from bottom up, I want to urge Kenyans to bank on our plan. We have a hardworking President, who from his first day in office has been taking bold steps to engineer prosperity for the people of Kenya,” he added.
He assured Kenyans that Ruto will remain dedicated to see the promises he gave Kenyans come to fruition.
