Africa-Press – Kenya. Pokot South MP David Pkosing has been elected chairman of the Public Investment Committee on Commercial and Energy Affairs.
He was elected unopposed alongside Rangwe MP Lillian Gogo as vice chairperson.
Pkosing was the Transport Committee chairman in the last Parliament.
The election was earlier scheduled for last Friday but was postponed owing to the huge competing interests that ensued.
The committee has 15 members and will oversight critical state corporations.
The committee was chaired by present Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Nassir.
