Africa-Press – Kenya. Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi will on Monday represent President William Ruto at the Danish-Africa High-Level Dialogue Summit.
The summit which will be held in Denmark is centered on the strengthened partnership between The Kingdom of Denmark and Africa.
The summit is themed, “Strengthened Partnership with Africa for Mutual Prosperity”.
Critical issues relating to Africa and Denmark will also be deliberated at the High-Level Dialogue Summit.
According to Kenya’s Ambassador to the Nordic-Baltic Eight (NB8) Angeline Musili who will join Mudavadi at the summit, alongside other members of the Kenyan delegation, the High-Level Dialogue will be seeking to address a new policy that is anchored on pillars of trade and investment, climate action and peace and security.
Nordic-Baltic Eight (NB8) is a regional co-operation format that includes Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden.
Musili noted that other key issues of global interest will also be discussed at the summit to review the relationship between Denmark and Africa, 15 years on.
The Prime CS is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with the Danish Prime Minister and other leading Danish investors, to discuss ways and strategies to upscale the Kenya-Danish relationship on untapped opportunities, and finding new frontiers of cooperation.
The summit has attracted over 200 high-level stakeholders from the African Continent.
Kenya and Denmark have cultivated special ties that date back to over 60 years.
