Africa-Press – Kenya. President William Ruto has wished his Tanzanian counterpart Samia Suluhu a happy birthday as she marks 63 years of age.
In a message on his Twitter account in, drafted in Swahili, Ruto wished the Tanzanian Head of State well in her role as President.
“Nakutakia siku njema ya maadhimisho ya kuzaliwa kwako Dadangu Mpendwa Rais (I wish you a good day as you mark you birthday my dear sister),” he said.
“Nakuombea kila la kheri na baraka katika uongozi wako wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania (I wish you good luck and blessings in as a leader of the United Republic of Tanzania).”
Former Tanzanian President Jakaya Kiwete also wished Suluhu a “happy birthday.”
“I wish you long, healthy and fulfilling life. On this auspicious day, please receive heartily congratulations on the wonderful work you’re doing for our dear country, at home and abroad. Please continue the good work! We support you and we’ll always do,” he said.
Senate Speaker Amason Kingi wished Suluhu good health and wisdom as she marked her birthday.
“Hongera Msheshimiwa Rais,” he said.
