Africa-Press – Lesotho. A social movement of Basotho based in South Africa and the Kingdom of Lesotho, the Free Basotho Movement, has called for a referendum in Lesotho, to allow the Basotho to vote if they want Lesotho to remain a sovereign state or be incorporated into South Africa. This movement wants Lesotho to be incorporated into South Africa. It is now advocating for the postponement of the general elections set to take place next year. Whilst we are still waiting for a comment from Lesotho High Commission in Pretoria, here’s the interview our colleagues Itumeleng Kgajane and video journalist Mzwakhe Tshabalala conducted with the leader of the Free Basotho Movement.
