Africa-Press – Lesotho. FIFA has announced the worldwide release of “Por Ella,” the second single from the official album of the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
The new track features celebrated pop star Belinda, legendary Mexican cumbia group Los Ángeles Azules, and award-winning producer Tainy.
The song, released through Def Jam Recordings, is now available on major streaming platforms worldwide.
According to FIFA, the release of “Por Ella” is another major step in the tournament’s global music programme as excitement continues to build ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
The track combines modern pop sounds with the energetic rhythm of traditional cumbia, creating a vibrant anthem for football fans across the globe.
Belinda described her involvement in the project as a huge honour, saying the song celebrates culture and the unique joy that the World Cup brings to fans in Mexico, Latin America and around the world.
Los Ángeles Azules also expressed pride in representing Mexico on the global stage, stating that football lovers everywhere would enjoy dancing to the song as much as they enjoyed creating it.
FIFA noted that “Por Ella” follows the earlier release of “Lighter,” the first single from the official tournament album.
More songs from different artists and musical backgrounds are expected in the coming weeks as part of a multi-chapter project leading up to the biggest FIFA World Cup in history, featuring 48 teams.
The world football governing body added that the official album is designed to unite music and football cultures while bringing supporters closer to the game and the artists they love.
