Africa-Press – Lesotho. His Majesty King Letsie III has commissioned Miss Ntsiuoa Sekete as the new Ambassador of Lesotho to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union while Director Asia and Pacific in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, Mr.

Matete ‘Nena is the Ambassador to the United Nations. In his remarks, His Majesty wished the pair well in their new assignments, urging them to represent Lesotho with humility and dignity in foreign countries.

“We aspire to strengthen relations between Lesotho and other countries of the world, therefore, we trust that you will represent us well,” His Majesty said.

he urged the new Ambassadors to discharge their work in a manner that will prove honour and loyalty on behalf of the Government of Lesotho and Basotho.

He wished them well during their tenure as Ambassadors in the international community. Accepting letters of commission, Miss Ntsíuoa Sekete who served in various assignments locally and regionally including being a News Reader at Lesotho

Television expressed gratitude to the government through His Majesty for having tasked her with such a huge responsibility. She assured His Majesty that she will remain aware of the aspirations, plans and priorities of the government in the development of the prosperity and well-being of

Basotho. On the same note, the new Ambassador of Lesotho to the United Nations, Mr. Matete ‘Nena said he endeavours to discharge the duties which he has been entrusted

by the government with humility and dignity. Present at this event included the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, Mr. Lejone Mpotjoane, other officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and families of the newly appointed Ambassadors.
