Africa-Press – Lesotho. Lesotho Meteorological Service will join the rest of the world in celebration of International Ozone Day on September 14 at ’Manthabiseng Convention Centre.
The day is normally marked on September 16 annually in commemoration of the preservation of the Ozone Layer. The Ozone Layer plays a vital role in the atmosphere protecting life on planet Earth from harmful sun rays.
This event will be celebrated with the industrial sector workers especially those working in the factories and the general public as part of raising awareness.
