Africa-Press – Lesotho. The Independent Child Welfare Organization (NECDoL) held a meeting with political parties and councils, where they were encouraged to incorporate the education of infants in their schools and look at how it could be improved.
. NECDoL Representative Ms. Ma ‘Lord‘ Mefana explained that the Association was established in 2016 with the aim of developing children from one month to five years old.
He further explained that the Association has, to date, worked with lamb schools in five districts namely Leribe, Maseru, Mafeteng, Quthing and Mohale’s Hoek.
He said it had come to their notice that Quthing district was so far behind in education from lambs that some residents sent their children to schools in Mohale’s Hoek.
He went on to explain that the purpose of the meeting between them and the councils and various political parties is to encourage politicians to take an interest in the basics of Lesotho education and re-enter the fray within the districts of Lesotho.
see to review the reports and programs of education implemented to ensure that they are truly consistent. “Political parties and councils should include the education of lambs in their call for elections this year and to ensure that the members of parliament in their constituencies ensure that the lambs’ schools are connected to the primary schools.
This will ensure that every child gets a lamb education before moving on to primary school, ”he said. He said that if the nominees for the upcoming elections could join them as a NECDoL, it would enable them to link them with the Ministry of Education to fund lambs schools.

Mr Moeketsi Shale, the youth director of the National Executive Council, said it was important to educate children online at an early age as he was already playing a key role in modern life.
He says foreign children are being taught online at a very young age so much so that by the time they reach adulthood they have become very advanced in terms of usage and this should be an example to Lesotho.
The Queen of the Kakana Basotho Council said that politicians or Parliamentarians should take the money they are borrowing from them to make changes in the villages and villages in which they have been elected.
“We need to make sure that there are schools for children because kindergartens are only located in the villages and they have not yet achieved their goal.
That is why we have been called here because of course we have to make a change to see that the lambs are in the villages as they are currently not weak, ”he said.
