Africa-Press – Lesotho. Twenty-two coaches have returned to the Lesotho Football Association Headquarters in Maseru for the second block of the CAF A Licence Coaching Diploma.
The first block was held in November last year. The second block was initially scheduled for January 2026 but was postponed due to LeFA’s budget realignment, with coaches also given an opportunity to complete safeguarding modules during the break.
Renowned CAF and FIFA Technical Expert Mr Serame Letsoaka will again facilitate the course alongside LeFA Coach Educator Mr Naleli Tšilo.
The group began with 23 participants, but Mr Setenane Setofo sadly passed away shortly after completing the first block. Meanwhile, FIFA Technical Expert Bernard Lippert on Saturday concluded his week-long visit to Lesotho Football Association’s National Academy in Leribe.
During his visit, Lippert met with coaches, including FIFA Talent Coach Sam Smith, and toured facilities like Sacred Heart High School, player accommodations, and the Ts’eliso “Saxophone” Technical Centre, where the academy players undergo their training.
He on Friday also met with LeFA’s President Mr Lijane Nthunya and Technical Director Mr Caswell Moru, offering technical advice on academy operations.
