Africa-Press – Liberia. The National Chiefs and Elders Council of Liberia (NACCEL) has honored its Chinese partners in Monrovia.
The ceremony was held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the NACCEL office in Monrovia.
However, the National Chiefs and Elders Council of Liberia honored three of the seven Chinese who came to Liberia.
Zanzan Karwor, Chairperson of NACCEL, extends his heartfelt gratitude to his Chinese partners and their entourage for coming to see how they can make investments in Liberia.
He said in a special statement that when people from different countries come to Liberia to invest, especially in NACCEL, they are to honor them before doing anything.
Highlighting the president’s Boakai Inaugural speech, Karwor indicated that the president urged all Liberians to work with China, America, and others who will come to invest in Liberia.
However, he also described the guests and their entourage as wonderful people who have come to make investments in Liberia that will help the country and its citizens.
Shery Wang, Image Ambassador of the People Republic of China, who was honored, extends his appreciation to Zanzan Karwor and the Council for presenting her with a prestigious honor.
She said that the honor not only belongs to her personally but also to their team and symbolizes the hard work and signification of the contribution of things in China and Liberia.
“I’m deeply honored to be a witness and participant in the friendship between the two countries, and I express my heartfelt gratitude,” she said. “I would like to give special thanks to my partners and our leaders, as well as to their dehumanization awareness against this hard label of the Liberian nation.”.
She indicated that she is confident and motivated enough to stand on the highest honor given her by the council to contribute to the people of Liberia in the future to see how best to build hard-label trust.
According to her, they have been in Liberia for nearly ten days, and with the help of President Boakai and his leadership, they have gained a clear understanding of the economic situation that Liberia faces as a nation and their understanding of health, educational institutions, women’s colleges, agriculture, and the issue of food security. She stated that it has touched her heart and motivated her to contribute more to Liberia.
Wang added that Liberia is also a country of humanity and good will, full of challenges and opportunities, rich in natural and human resources, but also facing many difficulties and challenges.
She promised to lead the investors to take economic development strategies a foundation to help the Liberian people achieve economic development because of the operation between her country (China) and Liberia.
Jack Huang, Honvary Chiet of the Republic of China, who was also honored by the council, expressed appreciation to the Chiefs and Elders for honoring him.
She said it is his hope that he will be a good breach to the people of Liberia and China.
