Africa-Press – Liberia. Margibi County Senator Emmanuel Nuquay has announced a scholarship program amounting to L$650,000 to support students at Margibi University, formerly Harbel College.

According to a statement released recently by Senator Nuquay’s Office, the initiative aims to promote academic excellence and alleviate the financial challenges faced by students enrolled at the university.

In addition, Senator Nuquay has appointed a three-member committee to oversee and ensure the smooth implementation of the scholarship program. The committee members include James Lomol, J. Stanley Nyumah, and Laminu Konneh.

The scholarship initiative has garnered widespread praise from residents of Margibi County.

David Marco Fatomah expressed his support, saying, “Great initiative! Thanks to Margibi’s greatest Senator, James Emmanuel Nuquay.”

Similarly, a resident Amb Joe Y. Karmo commended the senator, stating, “Congratulations, Senator Nuquay. We acknowledge your support in the educational sector.”
