The rescue team, comprising individuals from diverse backgrounds, including private security firms and committed citizens who aligned with the values outlined in the Unity Party Alliance’s manifesto, received praise from the President-elect for their unwavering commitment and resilience in the face of challenges.Acknowledging the significant role played by these security forces, President-elect Boakai conveyed his appreciation for their efforts in providing physical protection to the leadership of the Unity Party Alliance and other platform guests throughout the vigorous political campaigns held across the nation.
“I want to express my sincere gratitude to the remarkable individuals who dedicated their time and efforts to ensure the safety of our campaign team and supporters during the nationwide campaigns. Your commitment to the cause has not gone unnoticed, and I am truly thankful for your unwavering support,” Boakai stated.
The diverse backgrounds of the security team, which included personnel from private security firms and private individuals who shared a deep belief in the Unity Party Alliance’s manifesto, underscored the collaborative and inclusive nature of the security efforts.
A few weeks prior, the Executive Protection Service took over responsibilities from the private security personnel who had initially provided protection for President-elect Joseph Nyuma Boakai.
