Africa-Press – Liberia. TipMe Liberia has signed an agreement with Aminata and Sons Incorporated, a petroleum company, to allow TipMe customers to purchase petroleum products using a cashless system at all 21 Aminata and Sons service stations across Liberia.TipMe Liberia, a Liberian-owned company, was launched in September 2020. It offers a mobile electronic payment service and international remittance service.

Laureine Guilao, the Chief Executive Officer of TipMe Liberia, stated during the event that the TipMe brand aims to develop and grow a cashless ecosystem by providing valuable financial solutions to its expanding customer base.

“The partnership supports our commitment to bring more value to our customers,” said the CEO of TipMe Liberia.

According to Madam Guilao, the TipMe wallet will continue to strengthen and offer more options for customers to live a cashless life. She mentioned that TipMe’s platform includes convenient bill payment services such as LEC and JEP token purchases, airtime purchases for network operators across Africa, internet service payments, and television subscription payments.

“As a Liberian-owned business, we are extremely proud to partner with Aminata and Sons, another Liberian-owned business, as the first petroleum provider to accept payments through TipMe,” added Madam Guilao.

The CEO of TipMe expressed the company’s determination to ensure Liberia keeps pace with the digital world. He welcomed Aminata and Sons to the TipMe family and looked forward to promoting a cashless lifestyle in Liberia.

Emmanuel Togba, the Chief Executive Officer of Aminata and Sons Inc., commended TipMe Liberia for the partnership, considering it a significant step for the company’s future. He also encouraged other businesses to join the TipMe family.

“For Aminata, not joining the TipMe team would be doing ourselves a disservice because we would be depriving our valuable customers of the opportunity to use an alternative platform for payments and accessing their petroleum products,” he said.

He added, “This is something we have been waiting for, and I’m proud that TipMe has provided the necessary solution to ensure people can access their TipMe wallet for payments.”
