‘Untouchable LISCR, Watanga’: Debbah Accuses LFA President and Deputy of Sports for Match-Fixing

Africa-Press – Liberia. Former Lone Star Coach, James Debbah, has accused the president of the Liberia Football Association (LFA), Mustapha Raji and Deputy Youth and Sports Minister G. Andy Quamie of match-fixing in Liberian football.Raji, an executive member of CAF, is the owner of LISCR FC while Minister Quamie, owner of Watanga, is also CAF Judiciary Committee member.

LISCR FC were recently crowned champions of the LFA Orange National League which they went eight games unbeaten run in the second phase of the league and reached the final of the Orange Cup where they will face Quamie’ s Watanga.

A win for either side will see them represent Liberia in CAF’s club competitions.

But Debbah, a technical director of Garnerville FC, who made the accusations, said that the pair’s clubs are given leverage by match officials without proven evidence posted on his Facebook page and immediately took the post down after few minutes.

However, FrontPageAfrica was able to screenshot the post for which the former Paris Saints-Garmain forward asserted that the two clubs are imperial football clubs technically owned by the “emperor” and president of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) and his special Assistant Deputy Minister of Sports G. Andy Quamie.

According to him, both clubs are given leverage in the league due to the influence of these two men.

He further asserted that no match officials dare flinch when officiating matches of those clubs because it could lead to the possible suspension of the match officials.

Debbah wrote, “(Match Fixing!) LISCR and Watanga are two imperial football clubs technically owned by the Emperor/President of LFA Mustapha Raji and his special assistance G. Andy Quamie.

“These 2 clubs have the most leverage, they are so gigantic and powerful that no match officials dare flinch or blink when officiating their games because it could lead to possible suspension.”

“It is insane and pathetic how much protection are given these two teams.”

Adding, “No surprise why they triumph domestically but goofed and fizzle-out when they compete against their international counterpart.”

“Both teams have never qualified to the 2nd round of any international competition.”

“The Liberia football is on the decline folks. The decadence of immorality has taken over.”
