Africa-Press – Malawi. Nyasa Big Bullets Football Club has today Friday February 25, 2022 released its 2022/2023 final squad ready for registration with the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) and Super League of Malawi (SULOM), ahead of new season that kicks off on March 5, 2022. The club has left out its giant defender Miracle Gabeya and skillful goalkeeper Enerst Kakhobwe on reasons to be disclosed.
According to the statement Maravi Post Sports desk has seen, the club has offered new contracts to the players whose contracts expired at the end of 2020/2021 football season and promoted seven players from reserve team (Bullets Reserve) who have been offered senior contracts.
The club has also acquired the services of new players namely defender Hadji Wali and Central mid-fielder Mphatso Magaleta as free agents. Left-footed winger Robert Saizi from Play Football Malawi Academy, is the new player who has joined the club and will be registered as semi senior.
Saizi will be featured for both Senior and Reserves teams. Below is the is the full list of the new squad to be registered: Goalkeepers: Rabson Chiyenda, Richard Chimbamba, Clever Mkungula.
Defenders: John Lanjesi, Eric Kaonga, Nickson Nyasulu, Hadji Wali, Blessings Mpokera, Yamikani Fodya, Precious Sambani, Gomezgani Chirwa, Kesten Simbi.
Mid-fielders: Henry Kabichi, Yankho Singo, Chimwemwe Idana, Mphatso Magaleta, Enerst Petro, Thomson Magombo. Wingers: Mcfallen Ngwira, Patrick Mwaungulu, Misheck Seleman, Robert Saizi, Precious Phiri, Alick Lungu, Righteous Banda, Stanley Billiat. Forwards: Lanjesi Nkhoma, Anthony Mfune, Babatunde Adepoju and Hassan Kajoke.
