Africa-Press – Malawi. President Lazarus Chakwera has reconstituted six boards including boards of National Oil Company of Malawi (NOCMA) and National Food Reserve Agency (NFRA). This follows the expiry of terms of office in September this year for 29 government owned companies, agencies and regulatory bodies.
Speaking to the local media, Comptroller of statutory corporations Peter Simbani said the government expects effective delivery of the boards considering that the candidates chosen have the required expertise.
At the Malawi National Council of Sports (MNCS), Chakwera has maintained Dr. Sunduzwayo Madise as the Board Chairperson of the Council Members of the board include Charles Ulaya, Gladson Kuyeri, Young Chimodzi, Chisomo Mwamadi, Susan Namangale, Chigomegzo Nyasulu, Helen Mpinganjira, Alufeyo Chipanga and Thokozani Chimbali.
