Africa-Press – Malawi. Former Nyasa Big Bullets FC winger Peter Banda who is currently playing his international football in the neighbouring Tanzania with Simba SC on Sunday, February 13, 2022 scored his first CAF career goal against ASEC Mimosas from Ivory Coast in CAF Confederation Cup.
Banda scored at 81st minute to help his team to win the match by three goals to one with the other goals coming from Sakho and Kapombe at 12th and 79th minute respectively.
It was really an entertaining game between the two sides,Simba SC and ASEC Mimosas. The Malawi International Peter Banda basically continued from where he left off at the just ended continental Showpiece in Yaoundé Cameroon. He was later substituted at 86th minute after being shown yellow card soon for taking off his shirt in cerebrating his historical goal.
