Africa-Press – Mauritius. The group stage of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers for the European zone will conclude this Tuesday, November 18. As a reminder, there will be 12 groups of four teams. The top two teams from each group, along with the eight best third-placed teams, will qualify for the unprecedented Round of 32. Meanwhile, several nations have already secured their place in North America.
While we await the final qualifiers (one matchday of qualifying remains, and the March break will be used to determine the playoff winners from the different zones), the qualifiers have already seen 32 teams secure their spots at the American World Cup. In Europe, England, France, Croatia, Portugal, and Norway have already guaranteed their place in the United States. Following their victory against Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of Congo is also moving closer to a historic qualification.
