Africa-Press – Mauritius. The Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to Mauritius, Mr Miloud Benmakhlouf, paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Housing and Lands, Mr Shakeel Ahmed Yousuf Abdul Razack Mohamed, this morning, at the seat of the Ministry in Ebène.
In a statement following the meeting, Ambassador Benmakhlouf described discussions with the Minister as friendly and constructive, focusing on ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between Mauritius and Algeria. He indicated that emphasis was placed on enhancing technical cooperation across various sectors, including housing, urban development and industry, with a view to elevating collaboration to a higher level.
The Ambassador also recalled that he recently presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Mauritius, Mr Dharambeer Gokhool. During the meeting both sides discussed existing cooperation and explored avenues for further collaboration, he added.
