m. in St. Peter’s Square at the Vatican in Rome, Italy. Pope Francis passed away on Monday, April 21st. His death certificate, published by the Vatican on Monday, indicates that he succumbed to a stroke (CVA) that led to a coma and irreversible cardiovascular failure.
The document also reveals that he suffered from diabetes. “Death was confirmed by electrocardiogram,” indicates the document signed by the Director of the Vatican’s Department of Health and Hygiene, Professor Andrea Arcangeli.
