Africa-Press – Mauritius. The executive committee of the Parti Mauricien Social-Démocrate (PMSD) met in virtual session yesterday, with party leader Xavier-Luc Duval opting for the virtual Zoom formula instead of a face-to-face meeting, thus avoiding the need for him or party members to be questioned by journalists who, given the situation, would have expected them at Astor Court.
According to information gathered last night, discussions focused on upcoming PMSD activities, in particular to mark the 94th birthday of the late Sir Gaëtan Duval, including an open day at the latter’s residence in Grand-Gaube, possibly on Sunday October 6, coinciding with the week of the dissolution of Parliament. Those who took part in this virtual political meeting were left wanting more with regard to the alliance discussions with the MSM and the allocation of tickets.
