Africa-Press – Mauritius. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr Sultan bin Abdullah Al Angari, paid a courtesy call on the Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Home Affairs and External Communications, Minister for Rodrigues, Outer Islands and Territorial Integrity, Mr Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, today, at the New Treasury Building, in Port Louis.

In a statement, the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Mauritius deemed the meeting with the Prime Minister fruitful. He also conveyed to Mr Jugnauth as well as to the Government and people of the Republic of Mauritius the greetings from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.

Mr Sultan bin Abdullah Al Angari extended an invitation to Prime Minister Jugnauth to visit Saudi Arabia in the near future, and was awaiting a confirmation of the date of the visit.

“I believe this visit is very important to enhance the relationship between the two countries,” he said.

The Ambassador elaborated on the projects funded by the Saudi Development Bank in Mauritius and expressed his interests for their completion in a near future.
