Train-the-Trainers Programme keeps on going

Africa-Press – Mozambique. Over the past few weeks, the European Union Military Assistance Mission in Mozambique (EUMAM MOZ) has been overseeing several practical modules of the Train-the-Trainers programme alongside members of the Mozambican Defence Armed Forces (FADM) at the Katembe Training Camp.

The activities observed ranged from live-fire exercises to counterterrorism operations, including prisoner handling and tactical site exploitation. The Train-the-Trainers programme aims to develop pedagogical skills in order to strengthen participants’ ability to independently deliver future courses.

EUMAM MOZ is a non-executive mission with a mandate until June 2026. It focuses on the operational training cycle and maintenance, while also providing specialised training to the Mozambique Defence Armed Forces (FADM). This European Union mission includes military personnel from 11 nationalities.
