Africa-Press – Mozambique. Maintenance on National Highway Number 2 (N2) between Mozambique and the Kingdom of Eswatini is behind schedule because of the suspension of activities in the context of Mozambique’s post-election demonstrations.
Provincial delegate of the National Roads Administration (ANE), Dade Novelo, says that the works, which should have been completed in November, will only be finished in May, in light of an additional agreement with the contractor.
The periodic maintenance works on the Boane-Namaacha section of the N2 include, among other items, full reconstruction of the highway at critical points.
