Africa-Press – Mozambique. The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, met ExxonMobil Mozambique general director Arne Gibbs in Pemba city on Wednesday, to find out about the progress of the Rovuma Area Four LNG Project in Afungi, Cabo Delgado province.
Speaking to journalists at the end of the meeting, Gibbs said that he provided the head of state with information about the current development of the project, in the context of the security situation in the region.
Gibbs said he recognized that security conditions had improved significantly, and congratulated the Mozambican Defence and Security Forces and their allies.
