Africa-Press – Mozambique. Applications for the 2026 cultural program of the Franco-Mozambican Cultural Centre (CCFM) in Maputo are now open to performing artists and producers and must be submitted by Friday, 15 August, 2025.
Through this open call to national and international artists in the areas of music, dance, theatre, multidisciplinary performances and street arts., the CCFM reaffirms its commitment to transparency, diversity, and equity in project selection.
This approach allows for the gathering of proposals from diverse backgrounds, stimulating the circulation of ideas, opening up space for multiple artistic and cultural expressions and giving visibility to both established artists and new voices in the Mozambican creative landscape.
According to a statement from the CCFM, submitted applications will undergo an internal pre-selection process, which will determine the projects to be evaluated by the Project Evaluation Committee, composed of the institution’s management, representatives of its governing bodies—the French Embassy and the Ministry of Education and Culture—and public and private stakeholders from the cultural and creative industries sector. Final approval will be made unanimously by this committee.
Interested parties may submit their applications by completing the application form (available at ccfmoz.com ) and attaching all the requested additional information.
After the evaluation process, only selected candidates will be contacted.
Deadline for applications August 15, 2025..
