Africa-Press – Mozambique. A 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of raping a 13-year-old girl in the Polana Caniço “A” neighbourhood in Maputo city.
The man, a teacher and a friend of the victim’s family, reportedly went to the girl’s house, and, finding her alone, called her into her mother’s bedroom on the pretext of wanting to show her something on his phone.
He then sexually assaulted the minor, who became pregnant as a result.
