Africa-Press – Mozambique. Five people died in a motor accident in Nacala a Velha district, Nampula province, on Monday afternoon, when a car travelling at speed left the carriageway.
The accident occurred along Regional Road 703, when a light vehicle travelling from Nacala to Velha Cidade de Nacala, reportedly at excessive speed, veered off the road and ran over pedestrians also using the route.
The five victims died at the scene. Three other victims were seriously injured, and another four suffered minor injuries.
