Africa-Press – Mozambique. Mozambique and Saudi Arabia are seeking to strengthen ties of cooperation in several areas. The intention was expressed yesterday during the meeting between the President of the Assembly of the Republic, Margarida Talapa, and the Chargé d’Affaires of Saudi Arabia, Michel Bin Shail.
Shail highlighted the importance of ongoing dialogue between the two countries and spoke of a possible trip by the President of the Mozambican parliament to Saudi Arabia for a pilgrimage to Mecca.
“This visit by the President of the Assembly of the Republic to Saudi Arabia is a significant opportunity to deepen cooperation relations, promoting partnerships that will benefit both countries in several areas,” said Michel Bin Shail.
