Mozambique: Minister Mesquita inaugurates new ZOHRA Group project in Beira

Africa-Press – Mozambique. The Minister of Industry and Commerce, Carlos Mesquita, recently inaugurated, in the city of Beira, Sofala province, the newest and most modern showroom for the sale of motor vehicles in this city, belonging to the ZOHRA Group, representative of the Ronil Group in this province.

The showroom has two floors in a modern structure, comprising a Sales Stand, representing the Mazda, Toyota, Hyundai, Renault, Honda and Yahama brands. The space was designed to offer the best experience in the automotive industry in the centre of the country, through excellence and quality in customer service, combined with experience and in-depth knowledge of the market, factors that distinguish the company and make it unique.

With this achievement, the ZOHRA Group reaffirms its commitment to entrepreneurs, companies and the Government of Mozambique – a commitment to make available to the public a wide range of solutions and offers tailored to their needs during this crisis.

During the opening ceremony, Minister of Industry and Commerce Carlos Mesquita praised the group’s catalysing and active role in promoting and contributing to the growth of the economy, even in the face of this crisis that has plagued our country, in particular the city of Beira.

“This gesture demonstrates the effort, resilience and perseverance that the private sector has been unleashing, in this specific case the ZOHRA Group, which has not been a reason for us to break our rhythm of work or stop believing in the possibility of developing. On the other hand, the opening of this venture comes, in a way, to close a vacuum that has been felt for a long time, in terms of the availability of quality vehicles and automotive accessories.

“We want to challenge financial institutions to develop more attractive conditions for access to credit, which will allow the development of this sector of activity and boost the automobile trade in this part of the country. We also challenge commercial agents in the automobile area to improve after-sales services, allowing for an effective response, generating difference and trust among its potentials and clients,” Minister Mesquita added.

“This initiative is part of the group’s expansion and growth strategy,” ZOHRA Group administrator Amad Satar responded, “representing the company’s expressive response to the challenges posed, not only by the Covid-19 pandemic, but also by the lacklustre national economic situation, and demonstrates our commitment and contribution to the employment and employability ecosystem, as well as to the creation of wealth and solidity of the Mozambican economy.”

The ZOHRA Group is present in the cities of Pemba, Tete, and now Beira, promoting the offer of a total of 110 direct jobs for young Mozambicans.
