Africa-Press – Mozambique. The Maputo International Fair (FACIM) will take place from August 25 to 31 with a total of 3,150 exhibitors expected and 27 countries participating.

“The participation of 800 foreign exhibitors and 2,350 national exhibitors is expected,” representing a total of 27 countries, said Cabinet spokesperson Inocêncio Impissa, addressing the press yesterday at the end of the Council of Ministers’ weekly meeting in Maputo.

The 60th edition of Mozambique’s largest exhibition of goods and services will be held at Ricatla venue in Marracuene municipal district, Maputo province, in the south of the country.

FACIM 2025 is expected to receive approximately 70,000 visitors, Impissa said.

The Maputo Trade Fair has selected as exhibitors of honor at FACIM will be Gaza province and neighbouring South Africa.

This year’s FACIM will be held under the theme ‘Promoting Economic Diversification Towards the Sustainable and Competitive Development of Mozambique’.

FACIM 2025t will also host, in addition to exhibitions and other business-related activities, a Business Forum with South Africa, Impissa added.

Every year, Mozambique’s largest trade fair showcases Mozambique’s economic potential and business and investment opportunities in the domestic and international business sector. It also features other activities, including seminars, promotional sessions, and networking opportunities.
