Africa-Press – Mozambique. President Filipe Nyusi, in the company of his wife, Isaura Ferrao Nyusi, participated on Tuesday in the United Nations General Assembly Leaders’ Reception, hosted by his US counterpart, Joe Biden, and his wife, Jill Biden.
At the reception in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, President Nyusi shared with other heads of state the challenges facing Mozambique, in particular our experience of the disarmament, demobilisation and reintegration of former Renamo guerrillas and our mission as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.
At the same event, the president also addressed the development aspects of our country.
