Africa-Press – Mozambique. The President of the Republic advocated in Beira, Sofala province, this Thursday, the popularisation of golf through the promotion of competitions, both national and international.
Filipe Nyusi said that an exchange of experiences between practitioners of the sport and a focus on innovation were needed.
Speaking at the launch of the President’s Cup Golf Tournament, the head of state called for investment in sport, as a stepping stone to improving health.
The President’s Cup golf tournament was organised by the golf club in Beira, which recently celebrated 116 years of existence.
