Africa-Press – Mozambique. Private parking lots in the city of Maputo have nine days to complete their regularization and licensing with the Municipal Mobility and Parking Company (EMME).
This information is contained in an announcement issued by the company on August 1, which states that the measure aims to improve the control and oversight of spaces used for private parking, as part of the organization of traffic and urban mobility in the municipality of Maputo.
The aforementioned document lays out that the regularization process, with a deadline of 15 days from August 1st, is mandatory, as the initiative aims to ensure that all parking lots operate legally and in accordance with technical and urban planning standards.
The statement also states that the regularization applies to all private parking lots operating in the country’s capital, regardless of their size or location.
