Africa-Press – Mozambique. The British High Commission in Maputo announces that the UK Government in partnership with the Mozambican Government will be hosting the Mozambique in the UK Week from 28th June to 30th June 2022.
The MUW will be split over three days in the cities of London and Glasgow, with each day dedicated to a theme including Agriculture, Energy and Green Economy. Each thematic day will consist of site visits, roundtables, panel discussions and networking opportunities.
The panel discussions will serve as platform to highlight Mozambique’s trade and investment opportunities, while the site visits aim to showcase UK capabilities and expertise in Energy, Agri-tech and Climate/Green Economy sectors. Mozambican businesses will have a chance to make new links with UK firms and scope potential trade and investment possibilities.
Mozambique in the UK Week – Energy Day
The Mozambique in the UK Week Energy Day will take place on June 30 at Hotel Crown Plaza in Glasgow.
The event will include panel discussions to highlight Mozambique’s investment opportunities, focused on the energy sector. The event will bring together representatives from the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy from Mozambique including UK firms operating and developing projects in the sector.
Additionally, the event will serve as an opportunity for UK companies to promote its expertise and capabilities in the interest of identifying a new market. The event will also serve for businesses to network during the B2B sessions to connect Mozambican businesses with established UK firms.
