The cities of Maputo – at 34°C, Tete (35°C), Xai-Xai (33°C) and Quelimane (33°C) will be the hottest in the country today, with minimum temperatures of 17, 19 , 18 and 17 degrees Celsius respectively.
The heat will also extend to the cities of Inhambane (30°C), Chimoio (31°C) and Nampula (30°C), with minimum temperatures of 19, 15 and 17 degrees Celsius.
Other parts of the country will be (slightly) cooler. Vilankulo, Beira and Pemba can expect maximum temperatures of 29°C, 27°C and 29°C, and minimums of 18°C, 16°C and 18°C respectively. Lichinga can expect a maximum of 26°C and a minimum of 14°C.
