Africa-Press – Namibia. THE Namibia Local Content Conference and Exhibition (NLCC) 2025 has been officially postponed to 7–9 October 2025 to accommodate the Namibian government’s historic hosting of the Commonwealth Business Summit.
The adjustment aims to ensure unified national focus and institutional support for both landmark events, each playing a critical role in advancing Namibia’s development agenda and international positioning. The NLCC will continue to take place at The Dome in Swakopmund, with all planned programme elements—including exhibitions, technical sessions, and stakeholder engagements—proceeding within the updated timeline.
Convened by Antila Oil and Gas (AO&G) in partnership with the Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI), this year’s NLCC will be held under the theme “Aligning Namibia’s Energy Ambitions: A Synergised Approach to Local Content.” The event remains a vital platform for dialogue among government representatives, industry leaders, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), civil society organisations, and academic institutions. The primary focus is on embedding in-country value and accelerating Namibia’s oil, gas, and renewable energy transformation.
The Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB) has come on board as a strategic host partner, offering critical alignment with its mandate on local content and MSME development. NLCC 2025 continues to receive support from key partners including CLC Solutions, which supports extractives and enterprise growth across Africa; Above Ground Advisory, which provides regulatory and market-entry guidance to investors; the Africa Energy Technology Centre (AETC), which promotes cross-continental energy collaboration; and the Namibia Youth Energy Forum (NYEF), whose Energy Innovators Programme highlights emerging local enterprises and youth-led innovations. In addition, Namibia Oil and Gas will serve as the official media partner, while First National Bank Namibia (FNB) continues to support financial inclusion and institutional backing for local enterprise development.
Organisers extended their sincere appreciation to all delegates, sponsors, confirmed speakers, and media partners for their understanding and ongoing engagement. They emphasised that the continued collaboration reflects the shared national commitment to building an inclusive and sustainable energy future for Namibia.
Further updates regarding the conference will be communicated through official channels as preparations continue to ensure a high-impact, content-driven, and collaborative event experience.
