The Zion Christian Mission Centre graduates and Shincheonji Volunteers recently held a clean-up campaign behind People’s Primary School, Windhoek. The campaign aims to ensure hygiene and safety for all.

Around 80 volunteers joined the activity. They worked in teams, picking up litter, clearing the riverbed and making the place safer for residents. Their teamwork demonstrated the importance of maintaining shared spaces and participating in community efforts that improve safety. The clean-up also forms part of a wider effort by graduates and volunteers who are active in different countries. Recently, the Zion Christian Mission Centre celebrated more than 59 000 graduates worldwide, including pastors and religious leaders who are involved in community service.

The two teams, with the support of Interpack Beverages, the City of Windhoek, People’s Primary School and NamBTS, ensured a cleaner, safer, and more caring society for all.

In addition, the volunteers supported a blood donation drive together with the Namibia Blood Transfusion Service (NamBTS). Many people came to donate, and the setup made the process comfortable for donors.

One of the organisers, Kondjeni Kaimbi, said the experience was encouraging and that both the volunteers and NamBTS “deserve appreciation for their hard work.”

“Together, they aim to promote a cleaner environment, safer spaces and a stronger sense of community,” he said.
