CV-Interilhas suspends connections between Santiago and Maio due to sea conditions

Africa-Press – Namibia. CV-Interilhas, the company that operates the internal maritime transport service for passengers and cargo, announced that the connections between the islands of Santiago and Maio scheduled for this Monday are suspended due to bad sea conditions.

In a statement, the company informs all customers that due to the current meteoro-oceanographic conditions, characterised by strong swell in the region of the island of Maio, the trips Santiago/Maio at 11:00 and Maio/Santiago at 14:00, scheduled for today, are suspended.

“During this period, we will be monitoring sea conditions and will resume normal operations as soon as conditions allow. We will keep all passengers updated through SMS messages and also through our official website”, reads the statement.

CV-Interilhas, through the same channel, also thanks in advance for the understanding of users and regrets any inconvenience that this suspension may cause, emphasizing that it is committed to guaranteeing their safety on all trips.
