According to Namibia Meteorological Services, the south will be partly cloudy and mild to cold on Saturday. Several southern places such as Aus, Aroab, and Karasburg in the //Kharas Region are expected to see minimum temperatures between 2°C and 3°C on Saturday.
However, as the weekend progresses, temperatures in the south might drop lower as Namibia Meteorological Services predicted that frost is expected in some southern areas this weekend. //Kharas Region’s Keetmanshoop has been identified as one of the places likely to experience frosty conditions on Sunday, with temperatures possibly dipping to around 1°C.
Rainfall is also on the horizon for the south, particularly the //Kharas Region, this weekend, according to Namibia Meteorological Services. This is expected to come with exceptionally windy conditions, which will likely also affect the rest of the interior parts of the country.
In contrast, the rest of the interior is not expected to be exceptionally cold this weekend. In fact, the north might be particularly hot on Saturday. Namibia Meteorological Services predicted that Oshakati, Outapi, Eenhana, Ondangwa, Okaukuejo, and Opuwo might see temperatures rise to 31°C or 32°C on Saturday.
