Africa-Press – Namibia. THE Inspector General of the Namibian Police Force (NamPol), Lieutenant General Joseph Shikongo, has confirmed the appointment of Deputy Commissioner Eric Clay as the new Regional Commander for Kunene, effective 1 October 2025.
He will succeed Commissioner James Karungoojo Katjavivi Nderura, who is set to retire on 30 September 2025 after 35 years of uninterrupted service in the police force.
NamPol has also announced that Chief Inspector Florence Kuzatjike will be appointed as the new Head of Crime Investigations in the Kunene Region, succeeding Deputy Commissioner Clay. Her appointment will also take effect on 1 October 2025.
