Africa-Press – Namibia. THE long wait is over. The Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary and Advanced Subsidiary Levels (NSSCO and NSSCAS) results for both full-time and part-time candidates will be released tomorrow and will be available on the education ministry’s website (www.moe.gov.na) and via SMS services, as well as through the print media.
According to a notification issued by the ministry’s Executive Director, Sanet Steenkamp, both the website and the SMS service will become active at 12:15 Wednesday. She said that the ministry has made good progress with the marking and processing of the examination data and, having completed the full cycle of examination administration, is now in a position to release the long-awaited results.
Minister Ester Anna Nghipondoka will officially announce the results in the auditorium at the Government Office Park, Windhoek, at 10:00 am.
Steenkamp explained the procedure for requesting the results via SMS services, which entails sending a message with the candidate’s number to any of the following numbers: 99099 or 55755 or 44044. She gave examples of candidate numbers: “23AA150001 for NSSCAS level full-time candidates; 23BA150003 for NSSCAS level part-time candidates; 23OE090034 for NSSCO for full-time candidates, and 23DE100103 for NSSCO part-time candidates.”
Following the request, a candidate’s number and the results will be displayed on the screen of the cellphone. The candidate number for each candidate is printed on his or her admission permit, which was issued earlier.
“All candidates who wrote the 2023 NSSCO and NSSCAS National Examinations are reminded to have their candidate numbers nearby in order to be able to access their results,” said Steenkamp, who added that regional offices will also provide the results from the broadsheets to candidates and relatives who might personally visit the offices during office hours or call their respective regional offices at the following numbers:
