Africa-Press – Namibia. THE Minister of Finance and Public Enterprises has announced the appointment and re-appointment of members to the Board of Directors of the Central Procurement Board of Namibia (CPBN).

The appointments have been made in accordance with Section 11(1)(b)(c) of the Public Procurement Act, 2015 (Act No. 15 of 2015), as amended.

The newly constituted board will serve a three-year term from 1 March 2025 to 28 February 2028. The appointed members are Mary Ndeshihafela Shiimi as Chairperson, a highly experienced engineer with over 20 years of expertise in transportation and town planning, policy development, construction management, and project management. The Deputy Chairperson is Brian Katiaerua, a seasoned legal and business executive with over 24 years of experience in law, banking, corporate governance, and risk management.

Other members of the board include Paulus Tshiningayamwe, the Acting Director of Information Technology at the Bank of Namibia since January 2024, with over 16 years of experience in IT strategy, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. Immanuel Ndinoomwa Natangwe Kadhila, the Managing Director of Eos Capital since August 2022, has over 17 years of experience in investment management. Abrie Collard, a highly accomplished chartered accountant with over 17 years of experience in financial management, strategic planning, and corporate governance, holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science.

Iulinda Memosa !Garus-Oas, a distinguished procurement expert with over seven years of managerial experience in public procurement, supply chain strategy, and contract management, currently serves at NAMCOR, where she leads procurement operations. !Garus-Oas holds a Master of Law in Public Procurement Law and Strategy, an MBA, and is a Certified International Procurement Auditor.

Simon Tedy Shivute, a highly skilled quantity surveyor with over 17 years of experience in construction cost management, contract administration, and project estimation, is also on the board. Lucia Kazetjikuria, a qualified chartered accountant with over 15 years of experience in business strategy and financial management, holds an MBA and a BSc degree in applied accounting. She is currently serving in her designated role, with her term of office set to conclude on 28 February 2026. Her ongoing contributions and leadership continue to support the objectives and governance of CPBN.

The Central Procurement Board of Namibia plays a critical role in ensuring transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the public procurement process.
