Africa-Press – Namibia. THE 4th Women Road Safety conference officially kicked off in Oshakati, in the Oshana Region. The conference will be officially opened by Oshana Regional Governor Elia Irimari and is being held under the theme: “Empowering communities for safer roads.”
Areas of focus will include issues such as legal requirements for road safety, safety and intelligent transport systems, and the power of communities coming together for road safety. The conference, which began on Thursday, will conclude on Friday with an exhibition.
