Africa-Press – Nigeria. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday arrested 15 suspected internet fraudsters in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
The anti graft agency confirmed the arrest on X on Tuesday.
It said they were arrested in Amax Apartment, Guzape, following credible intelligence that linked them to fraudulent internet activities.
A Toyota Highlander with customized registration number (BORNO AAA) and phones were recovered from them.
The commission added we that they have made useful statements and will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
