Ikenna Hilary: I’m Happy To Regain Full Fitness

Kano Pillars midfielder, Ikenna Paul Hilary has disclosed the depth of happiness he feels, following his quick recovery from an injury he recently picked up in Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) action.

The former Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan battler, who was part of the home-based Eagles’ silver winning squad at the 2014 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) in South Africa gave thanks to God for healing.

Footballive.ng can report that the lanky midfielder, who has seen action in Malta, Spain and Portugal, is now looking forward to resuming regular playing time with Sai Masu Gida, as he believes his torrid days are over.

He took to social media to reveal his thoughts, with deeply emotional words that appear to have been carefully chosen to celebrate his full recovery and admitted that it was God who made his return so fast.

The dark-skinned player, who grew up in Okoko area of Lagos State, stated further in his post on facebook that he was delighted to give praise to God during church service this past Sunday.

Hilary stated in his post: “Thanking God For Speed Healing. Covenant Day Of Fruitfulness And Anointing Service @ Zungeru Road, Kano.”
